Why does Akarui exist?
One day a group of people were bored and decided to make a VTuber group. There wasn't much planning at first, but it quickly evolved. We love to help small creators because we are small creators ourselves! We love our team and the opportunities to meet like-minded individuals.
Why is the age limit 16+? Can the limit be bent?
To be a twitch partner, you need to be 13+ with parental consent, or 18+. Same goes with Discord and YouTube. But most people under the age of 16 (in America) don't have access to bank accounts, so that makes it pretty difficult to become an affiliate. Also, we have some adults on the team, and when you hit 18 your views may change on who you want to spend your time with. Usually, most want to avoid being with people under 16 online due to potential false accusations. It's more of a convenience and safety precaution.
This rule will NOT be bent for the safety of our Talents and community.
